Glafira is a Løten-based artist, curator, and educator.
Since 2006 she is an independent curator, coordinating and producing different projects in Northern Russia and Norway ( “Den rode armes tilbaketrekning / The Withdrawal of the Red Army / Возвращение Красной Армии”, Dark Ecology, AIR Barents, High North AiR Network, Transfer North Curatorial, and Critical Writing Residency, Kjerringøy Land Art Biennale, etc)
Among her most recent curatorial projects are the exhibition “Diplomat” at Blaker gml.Meieri (2019), Digital Balke | Divine North ”from the North Norwegian Art Museum in Murmansk (2017). From 2015 to 2018, she was the director of the contemporary art gallery CH9 in Murmansk, where she exhibited many Norwegian and other international artists.
2019-2020 she was a consultant, producer, and curator for BOA IPSP (BOA In Public Space Program) which is an art-in-public-space project under the auspices of BOA (Visual Artists Association of Oslo and Akershus).
2020 — curator and producer for «Abduction» a video outdoors exhibition in Oslo.
She is a member of the Norwegian Drawing Center (Tegnerforbundet), and the Association of Norwegian Visual Artists (NBK).
Glafira er kurator og kunstner. Med utdanning som kunsthistoriker og kunsthistoriepedagog tilsvarende Mastergrad ved Statlige Arktiske Universitet i Murmansk. Hun har bodd og jobbet i Norge siden 2017.
Medlem av Tegneforbundet og NBK. Som kurator jobbet Glafira for Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum i 2015-2019 med prosjektet «The Withdrawal of the Red Army / Возвращение Красной Армии/ Den røde armés tilbaketrekning«. I utstillingsdelen som med-kurator, i den prisbelønte utstillingspublikasjonen som en av to hovedredaktører.
Blant hennes seneste kuratoriske prosjekter kan nevnes utstillingen “Diplomat” på Blaker gml.Meieri (2019), “Digital Balke | Divine North” fra Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum i Murmansk (2017). Fra 2015 til 2018 var hun direktør for samtidskunstgalleriet CH9 i Murmansk, hvor hun stilte ut mange norske og andre internasjonale kunstnere.
I 2019-2020 var hun konsulent, produsent og kurator for BOA In Public Space Program, som er et kunst-i-offentlig-rom prosjekt i regi av BOA (Billedkunstnere I Oslo og Akershus). Prosjektet finansieres av Oslo Kommune og er en del av Program for Bilfritt byliv, medkurator er Ivan Galuzin.
2020 — kurator og produsent for «Abduction» en video utendørs utstilling i Oslo.
Hun jobber som konsulent og produsent i forskjellige organisasjoner, kunstneroppholdsprogram og arrangementer, f.e. av Kjerringøy Land Art Biennale, Dark ecology, High North osv.
